The core mechanic of Level Devil is straightforward platforming. You run, you jump, you avoid spikes. Seems simple enough, right? Wrong. This isn’t your typical Mario adventure. The game thrives on trickery and surprise. Platforms disappear, spikes spring up from nowhere, and ceilings collapse without warning. The level layout itself is constantly shifting, so memorization isn’t always your friend. Your goal in each level is to reach the door. Sounds easy, again, but the path to that door is paved with peril. Traps are often hidden just out of sight, requiring careful observation and a willingness to experiment (and likely die… a lot). The levels themselves are relatively short, which is a blessing considering how frequently you’ll be meeting your demise.
