Two of the world’s iconic soccer teams will clash Tuesday in the first leg of a UEFA Champions League quarterfinal.

Real Madrid is scheduled to host Liverpool at 3 p.m. ET April 6, with Galavision and the streaming service Paramount Plus providing broadcasts. FuboTV carries Galavision and offers a free trial.

Both fuboTV and Paramount+ will air matches throughout the UEFA Champions League.

Fans of Real Madrid and Liverpool both know the feeling of what their team sprint to Champions League glory. Real captured the crown four times in five seasons between 2014 and ’18, while Liverpool took home the trophy in ’19.

Back in 2018, these two clubs met in the final, with Real prevailing, 3-1.

That leaves the world of soccer with a captivating quarterfinal in 2021. Real sits in third place in the Spanish La Liga, and Liverpool is seventh in the English Premier League, but both teams maintain top-tier fire power.

Karim Benzema has scored five times in six Champions League appearances this season, giving Real and coach Zinedine Zidane an attacking star. Mohamed Salah remains a star up front for Liverpool.

After playing Tuesday, the clubs will return to the field April 14 for the second and final leg of their quarterfinal matchup. At that point, only one of these two traditional powers will progress into the semifinal.

After defeating Atalanta in the round of 16, Real Madrid will be hoping to get an advantage in this quarter-final first-leg tie ahead of the return leg on April 14.

Los Blancos will be confident after seeing off La Dea comfortably with a 4-1 aggregate win. Real also come into today’s game off the back of a nine-game unbeaten streak in the league.

Zinedine Zidane’s side sit in second place in La Liga as things stand, just three points behind local rivals Atlético Madrid. In between this Champions League game and the second-leg meeting with Liverpool next week, Real have the small matter of an El Clásico clash with rivals Barcelona that may serve as an unwelcome distraction for Zidane’s men.

Liverpool secured their place in the Champions League quarter-finals with two 2-0 victories against RB Leipzig. Goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané in each leg ensured the Reds’ progress.

Despite lifting the Premier League trophy last season, Liverpool have struggled for form this year and currently sit outside of the Champions League qualification spots for next year. With just eight games left to play in the league, Jürgen Klopp will be hoping his side can beginning climbing the table before it’s too late.

With two of the Champions League’s most successful clubs going toe-to-toe, it looks set to be an entertaining quarter-final clash. Read on for full details on how to get a live stream of this UEFA Champions League clash between Real Madrid and Liverpool with our guide below.

Real Madrid vs Liverpool live stream: How to watch Champions League fixture online and on TV tonight. Everything you need to know ahead of the first leg

Liverpool resume their quest for silverware in a clash of two genuine European heavyweights, as they head to Real Madrid for the Champions League quarter-final first leg.

The Reds reached this stage after topping their group and beating RB Leipzig in the round of 16, with the second leg of that tie being the start of a current three-match win streak. Jurgen Klopp’s team had struggled for results prior to that, but looked back to somewhere near their best in a weekend demolition job against Arsenal.

In fact, Liverpool have had few struggles on the road this year despite dropping off the pace in the Premier League; they have won seven of their last nine away games in all competitions, with the only two defeats coming against second- and third-placed Man United and Leicester.

It’s at home where the Reds have really struggled, meaning they might well look to this first leg as all-important to get their noses in front and have plenty to fight for when Real Madrid visit Anfield in just over a week.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the match.

When is the match?

The game kicks off at 8pm BST on Tuesday, 6 April.

Where can I watch it?

The match will be shown live on BT Sport 2. Subscribers can also stream the match via the BT Sport app and desktop website.

What is the team news?

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has confirmed that Eden Hazard will miss out through injury, while Sergio Ramos is also sidelined and Fede Valverde is a big doubt. Dani Carvajal is also a long-term absentee.

Central defender Raphael Varane has also been ruled out after testing positive for coronavirus.

Liverpool remain without their three centre-backs who are out for the season in Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip, while Jordan Henderson is also not expected to feature again this term in midfield. Divock Origi and Caoimhin Kelleher are doubts, but neither would have started the game.

Predicted line-ups

RMA – Courtois; Lucas, Militao, Nacho, Mendy, Modric, Casemiro, Kroos, Vini Jr, Benzema, Asensio

LIV – Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Kabak, Robertson; Thiago, Fabinho, Wijnaldum; Salah, Jota, Mane

Real Madrid – 13/7

Draw – 28/11

Liverpool – 48/29

The Reds’ improved form could prove vital as they look for an away goal, especially given the injury absences for the home side. Real Madrid 1-2 Liverpool. Real Madrid vs. Liverpool: Live stream UEFA Champions League on Paramount+, how to watch online, odds, news.
