Char Dham Yatra Badrinath
The Char Dham Yatra Badrinath is one of the most spiritually meaningful journeys for devotees travelling through the Himalayas. Badrinath is the final and often much-anticipated destination in the traditional Uttarakhand Char Dham circuit of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.Situated in the Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of around 3,133 meters, Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and lies beside the Alaknanda River. The temple is surrounded by the dramatic Nar and Narayan mountain ranges, creating an atmosphere that feels very different from an ordinary holiday destination. For many pilgrims, reaching Badrinath after travelling through the other three Dhams is the emotional highlight of the entire journey.
